Blind, deaf dog finds a new family - National Dogs | Examiner.com

Bear, just a puppy, was discovered in March – wandering aimlessly through the streets of Phoenix.

The 5 month-old puppy had no eyes and was deaf – his world dark…silent.

He is believed to have been abused by someone – his eyes were pushed to the back of his sockets, rendering him completely blind.

But he was found – taken in by Boxer Luv Rescue and cared for. He had surgery not long ago – the damaged eyes were removed and the infected sockets cleaned.

Now, a final happy update for this adorable puppy that has captured the heart of so many.

Yesterday, Bear was adopted. Last Saturday he went to a potential adopter’s home – to see how things would go with the other 4 legged members of the family.

All details were finalized yesterday, as the match appears to have been made in heaven.

There is one very special member in Bear’s new family – another deaf and blind dog named Solaris. According to the Bear Luv Facebook fanpage, the two dogs immediately hit it off and they are in love.

The gorgeous photos shared by Bear’s new family show that special bond better than any words are capable of.

It’s always a pleasure to share a final, happy wrap-up to a story. Many thanks to the volunteers at Boxer Luv Rescue that took Bear in and found him such a wonderful new family.

If you read Bear’s original story, please take a moment to share this as well – hopefully it will reach everyone that read about his original plight and worried for his future.
