I actually prefer using the audio cable because of the clearer sound quality it provides. I also like listening to my portable MP3/CD player when I'm in a waiting room at the doctor's office or am waiting for a taxi.

By the way, I also love wearing my MP3/CD player when doing housework. :)

One thing I'm waiting for Cochlear to develop is a stereo audio cable which would allow those of us with bilateral CIs or CI/HA to hear binaurally. Perhaps I'll send an e-mail to Cochlear to see if it's in the works. :)

With the increasing number of people becoming bilateral I'm sure that it will happen at some point :)
