It is on Discovery Channel--
It has 11 members of various disabilities included amputees, blind and deaf.
I just saw the first espiode of "Beyond Boundaries" and I don't like Charlie, the Deaf member. So rude. But you know how the network will clip the raw footage, only showing the "bad side" of a person to keep the viewers on edges of their seats.
I am not sure if Charlie is "deaf" or capital-d Deaf... He can lipread and talk, got hearing aids. He calls himself "deaf" ... No signs form him *yet*. Charlie is the most abled body of the team. (All others has a limb missing or sight lost).
Most of the members are British. I think all of them are British.
I might or might not keep track of this series.
The series basically shows you how disabled people deal with the challenges-- by sending them out on an expediture in Niguarca (sp) through mud, swamps, densed forests.
"Beyond Boundaries", Discovery Channel, 10p (every wednesday? Not sure)
Be sure to tune in and give your opinion of the tv series. Not based on Charlie solely, but the goal of the tv series being broadcasted.
Thoughts, favoritism, et cetera-- throw your two cents here!
