I know some of us have the ability to listen to music, and some of us like to work out. So for those of us that workout whats your favorite workout music that keeps you going throughout the workout?

I just started doing Core Rhythms. The funny part, I added music to the moves first, I started out with Depeche mode songs and a blend of Rhianna and Sean Paul. I got very creative adding disco music bec my uncle was a disco king in dancing and growing up some of those songs stuck in my brain and decided to apply them to a workout its soo much fun! Dang! The lady from Dancing from the Stars is putting together a disco workout , so there went my idea:(

Can I throw in too even though I am hearie?

I am Body Attack addicted! It's a very physical work out created by Les Mills (New Zealand). His lessons are famous all around the world! They usually "create" their own tracks but if you are willing to find out more, here's the link to the main website of the Body Attack class.

About BODYATTACK - Les Mills Global

I practise twice a week but right now I am still on a break for another month! I miss it so much

I also found the Paris launch of BA 62 where I went to :D It was on my birthday!!!! There were waaaay too many people to exercise correctly but I had lots of fun with my friends!

This is a good workout tune :)

Nice. I once ran for an entire length of a DJ Tiesto album, a total of about an hour and 15 minutes. Because the music was a continuous club mix style, you knew the songs changed but there was never a break in the music so therefore your mind didnt mentally stop - it just kept going. Once your mind is mentally stopping in a workout - your body begins to hurt or grow tired which stops the workout altogether for some folks.

Nike+iPod has some workout tracks tailored to specific workouts such as a running album, a weight circuit album, boxing, soccer, and so forth. The beat is set so that you pace yourself better.

DJ Tiesto is in my pov the best DJ in the world!!!! :D Oh and also Armand Van Helden has the best music if you love continous club sounds!

While I do have some favorite albums that I enjoy hearing during a workout, I prefer listening to my favorite 80s music because so much of it contains good drum beats and rythm.

Wanna go party in Amsterdam? :naughty:

Some of mine

No particular priority, just some random ones. If you'd like mp3s, I have a ton, let me know.

I prefer a lot of the 8/16bit gaming music, because the composers of back then knew how to keep the tracks "beating". I'm more of a runner/cycler so I tend to move my feet with the speed of the beats.

A lot of it can get repetitive, so I feel it's best to cycle with a lot tracks to keep the repetition from kicking in.

I know this is probably going to be a lot, so just play whatever you feel like.

Quad Damage - Quake III - idSoftware - It's kinda screechy but once you get to the chorus, its like suddenly having nasal congestion cleared out and you can focus.

I'll pause here, if you're trying to catch up on breath ;)

Naisho, you workout to those tracks ? I did listen to them, it was a bit awkward to get into to workout for me. The last track it says, sorry no longer available.

Best music is to put your own style of music to workout. I do that on youtube, have my fave list and play them and workout :) I am doing well went from size 16 to 14:shock:

I think the Move your Body the Dresden & Gabriel Edit is nice.

I needs to get on iTunes and download some new workout tracks, I'm getting burned out on what's already on my playlist.

Oh and I'm re-shrinking thank God. Back to a size 28 as of this morning! Bear in mind that is a men's 28 not a women's 28!! I think a men's 28 is equivalent to about a 7 or 8 in womens.

If anyone wants something fun and fast to workout to, you can download my latest mix for FREE.

Party Pants.mp3

I workout to my own mixes, but that seems biased lol. But I have a few friends who listen to it during workouts.

Enjoy!
