A question for you all -
Until I watched Good Will Hunting a few years ago in the theater, I had never seen the Boston culture or heard the Boston accent portrayed correctly or accurately in a movie or on tv. Good Will Hunting was the best movie I can think of that portrays we Bostonians the best.
Sometimes I would watch a movie with a person trying to immatate our accent and just want to leave the theater or, in the case of tv change the channel, because it was SO awful. The characters and setting were just SO unbelievable.
My question for this thread is this...which movie or television show portrayed the deaf culture or language the worst, or opposite, the best, and why?
