Obama: Senator Clinton has a different approach. She believes that we have to force people who don't have health insurance to buy it. Otherwise, there will be a lot of people who don't get it. I don't see those folks. And I think that it is important for us to recognize that if, in fact, you are going to mandate the purchase of insurance and it's not affordable, then there's going to have to be some enforcement mechanism that the government uses. And they may charge people who already don't have health care fines, or have to take it out of their paychecks. And that, I don't think, is helping those without health insurance. That is a genuine difference.

The-one-shall-not-be-named will certainly try and spin this like a top that Obama didn't lie. Sure he did. He stated a belief that it was wrong and that it was his conviction. He only said that just to counter Hillary's in that campaign race for the Democrat selection.
Mighty convenient. The people were stupid enough to believe him.

Wrong , there are a lot peope that voted for Obama that feel betrayed!
I been making calls against this monster bill and I voted for Obama! He lied and he will not get my voted again! I heard the democratic been getting threatening emails and having rock throw at their homes or offices! People are really angry about this new law! I am too!
 
Kinda hurts when the veil gets lifted, doesn't it? I saw right through him seeing him as a very lefty liberal with his Chicago machinery. Heck, he's more way more left than Kennedy even when he's sober.

I didn't answer a question with a question. :) Rhetorical. Every promise comes with a price tag.

I remember a politician said he will pay off the debt without touching anything-- well he slashed everything in sight. He kept his promise alright, but he wasn't upfront about the cost of keeping such promise.

Did he lie about a healthcare reform? No.

Was he upfront about how it will be handled? Good luck trying to find a politician who will, because he's not the first one to who keep his words in its entirety.
