An elderly gentleman had serious hearing problems for a number of years.
He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a
set of hearing aids that allowed the gentleman to hear 100%.

The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor
said, "Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased that
you can hear again."

The gentleman replied, "Oh, I haven't told my family yet. I just sit
around and listen to the conversations. I've changed my will three

Hahaha not far from the truth either... I've heard of people doing stuff like this, listening when people think they can't hear and not letting anyone know. (or even the opposite, turning HA down or off and act like the battery went out or something, when they don't feel like listening. Haha.)

This is a funny one. I hear my son sometimes, 'mom, can you hear me?' he'll ask over and over until I tell him yes. I just wanted to see how he is when I do in fact turn them off.
