I'm a hearing college student taking a class called Intro to Deaf Culture. I don't know ASL, but know a few signs. I will be taking ASL before I finish school. 
I am doing research on how Deaf people have been treated while out in the community. I would appreciate anyone sharing any experiences good 
or bad 
that you may have had. My goal is to make the Hearies aware of Deaf needs.
