Georgia has a very large deaf community. Bet you have no trouble finding a deaf chat or coffee there nearby.

I see that you mentioned in another thread that you're HOH. You may want to try the Hearing Loss Association of America and see if there's a chapter near you. It's an organization populated among by the hearing-impaired, late deafened and HOH:
