Atheist doctors twice as likely to shorten patients' lives

That's because he was being polite.

I would chose to endure the pain and suffering while smiling through it hoping my strength might inspire others. Just me though. I never take the easy route.

When I was health aid I had clients that could not wait to dies ,they did not want be pain any more and they hated being a in body that was useless to them. THey could no longer do the things they loved to do. I do not want to waste money keeping me alive if I am dying.

Also, make sure to tell you family not to buy a burial plot, a coffin, and pay all kinds of taxes associated with it. Cremation is the way to go. Cheap and effective. Make sure you get Grandpa's gold filling first.

Sure beats being embalmed in formaldehyde stuck inside a small closet!

Cremation is the right way to go. Not only that it's "cheap" and effective, it's natural too.

Besides you will never see the dead body after the service so what's the point of coffin, burial, and all that?

I do cremation because it's part of my religion and Asian culture but... I was bit surprised to hear this from you. I thought you're Christian?

My father was cremated and scattered in the ocean. "Don't want to take up anymore space than needed". this was in 1991, so it was before they starting talking about Carbon Footprints. Mother wants to have the same done for her. If they won't allow the scattering in ocean, then I am to buy a Phyllis rose and bury her ashes in the pot under the rose. She loves red roses and her name is Phyllis. Ocean is first choice, though. Hubby doesn't like the idea of cremation, so he and I will be buried. Not my choice, but, oh well.

Yep, that's my plan. I better put that in writing. :hmm:

Wirelessly posted

Good thing you didn't say "and," or I would suggest going down to your local turkey farm.

That is why Oregon and Washington states have laws to allow someone to be put to sleep when they are very ill. It's due that those states have one of the lowest religious people in the US.
