I am a hearing person who is convinced that if I had learned ASL as a kid in school along with English I would have been able to learn foreign languages better. After taking an ASL class, I was able to understand French and Spanish syntax better.
Would those who used to be hearing but are now deaf agree with me that ASL helps one learn foreign languages?
