Hello. I am still learning about ASL and Deaf Culture. I would like some helpful links. I also would like to know the differences of behaviors and norms in Deaf World. When you are in social gatherings like a family reunion and they all hearing, how do you interact with them espically if they all talking at once? Thanks.

One can assume that if at a social gathering of which no one else knows/uses ASL one can only ask "them" to write for you as you can't "hear"-them. How else can one "deal" with the "fact/condition" of one's deafness? Lap top computers/cell phones whatever can be utilized.
