Not temporary, permanent. However I may be coming back to the states on temporary basic for vacation and probably on business. I grew up in NJ and moved to P.R when I was 10. I have been here 14 years.

Yes and no, I am the only deaf my FAMILY, and I do have other members in my family who are also deaf. My FAMILY do not sign but my sister can do A-Z figure spelling.
 
I am soo inquisitive here, if I were to go to PR, what is the thing I must do and eat?

I really don't know what cause my deafness, only my mother knew but she's in heaven. My father lives a NJ for a while on his job. So I have no idea what kind of fever I had when I was a child. I will look into that later and ask my sister. As for preferred method of communication...ASL/SEE is my primary even though I can still talk.
