Ask me anything...

Does Ginko Biloba really aid memory? I'm thinking of giving it a try cuz my memory is shot! I'm only 30 but my mind is fading fast...hope i don't actually forget that i asked you this question..:|

Soc-child...Ginkgo biloba has three effects on the human body: improvement in bloodflow to most tissues and organs, antioxidant properties, and aiding in blood clotting and platelet aggregation. For more you can read below...

As for the memory thing, it's up to you but you may want to try laying off that bottle you mentioned earlier. Worked wonders for me. :cool2:

What makes you get out of your bed every morning to start your day? Enthusiam for life or urge for java fix or an alarm clock that wont leave you alone until you get out of bed? :giggle:

Gemma...that's a pretty deep question. What does one gauge his answer on? Well, I hate mornings and nothing feels better than slipping back into the sweet sweet embrace of sleep after hitting the snooze. And sometimes, if I'm having a particularly coll or vivid dream, I can kind of act in it, semi-consciously, in between alarm buzzes.

The honest truth is that I love my job and don't mind doing it. And they pay me really well so the smell of money, rather than coffee, si what gets me up.

:ty: for the question

Profound answer! I have had hard time getting up in mornings lately and I think it is because I finally realized that Im overworked and underpaid so was hoping for some inspiration but you merely confirmed it :P

megan...my Favorite Thing To Cook Doesn't Have A Recipe Per Se. Meaning I Don't Put Exact Amounts Of Everything Each Time, But It's Pretty Much The Same. It's My Chicken Fried Steak And Garlic Mashed Potatoes.

Secret, I Think, Is To Marinate The Cube Steak For At Least 2-3 Hours And I Like To Batter Mine Twice For Extra Crispy.

Marinade Is Simple: Lea And Perrins, Montreal Steak Seasoning, Season Salt, Minced Garlic.

For The Breading Just Flour But Mixed In With Lots Of Pepper, More Montreal Steak Seasoning, Season Salt. Simple Egg Wash Makes The Meat Sticky To Absorb The Batter. I Dip Once - Let Sit - Dip Twice And Pan Fry.

Simple Cream Gravy On Top Makes Delicious.

Garlic Mash Is Easy, Just Leave Some Skin On Potatoes And Mash With Milk, Butter, Salt, Pepper, Minced Garlic, And Galric Powder To Taste. I Also Put Some Chives In Mine.

That's It, Meg! Enjoy Some Good Ol' Texas Home Cookin'!!!

Lol and thks.

What is the most precious thing in world to you?

Are you afflicted with "Texas is the best" syndrome? Dont get me wrong - I think Texas is a lovely state but it seems like every Texan thinks it is the BEST state and has BEST women, cowboys, food, weather, geogaphy, etc you name it, a Texan never fails to brag......come on, gimme a break, there are 49 other states

Gemma...fascinating question. I am not a native Texas but I'm married to one and lived here for over 23 years so I think I can speak on it, authoritatively. I have seen this and have always found a little more than annoying. Texas is great but certainly not the best by ANY means. I mean, just look at our President...any questions? LOL

The scenery is great, Austin is the Best Kept Secret in America for sure, and I'm quite partial to proper tex-mex and a good Chicken Fried Steak. I am more liberal and I tend to think thal a lot of the state is a bit backward-thinking. I'm just not very conservative. A lot of those "purists" that way for valid reasons. There's a lot for Texans to take pride in. I just feel that a state cannot take its self seriously or claim to be anything close to The Best if they still execute mentally retarded people. Or maybe it's just me...

Ah. Good one! I love and have always loved music. I began playing guitar and drums at age 11 and since then have learned several other instruments. I write, teach, and perform music and would someday like to be able to interpret music and song for the deaf and hoh through ASL. I have seen this done well and find it AMAZING.

I do love to cook. I cook all kinds of tasty stuff, mostly American, Italian, and Mexican, but I'm open to all foods that don't suck. I LOVE Greek food but am extrordinariy picky with the cucumber sauce.

I love movies and TV and am a huge movie buff and wannabe producer. I always watch the financials and per-screen averages. For example: the per-screen average for The Dark Knight was a record setting $15, 208 on 4,366 screens. I'm a huge dork, I suppose.

I love comedy and try to see as many shows as I can. Austin is great for such things. I got to meet Lewis Black and see Dave Chappelle, too.

Other than that, I just study and learn stuff. I love learning ASL, computers, networking, UNIX.

I'm active in politics and do volunteer work for one of the Presidential campaings...the one that doesn't suck. :naughty:

That's about all I can think of right now, but thank you for that thorough burst of self-discovery!

Yes that is very true. Case Manager position can be very stressful. I must admit that I really enjoy to work with Deaf colleagues and clients better than Federal Government job. I have no motivation to working at the Gov't job, difficult to get up in the morning.
