Arnold and Maria split after 25 years of marriages

Given the nature of the individuals in the relationship, I am certain that they have not made a hasty decision, and are doing what they believe is best for all concerned, even though it is bound to be a painful decision. Beyond that, I hate that our society does so much vicarious living through someone else's troubles.
 
I suspected infidelity is behind this split.

Politicians have a very poor record when it comes to turning down temptations. That goes for Entertainment business,too. Schwarzenegger is a bit of both- you can't beat the odds. He'll never be the POTUS.

Let's not forget that Schwarzenegger was accused of sexual harassment and fooling around on quite a few occasions during his first campaign. He didn't deny these allegations, he even took a course on it to keep his image intact.
 
He had a child with one of the housemaids. It is all over the news. So I am not suprised. Since he was accused of sexual harrassment in the past. As Banjo stated.
 
At least he came clean. Unlikely a lot of politicians.

He did play it smart by waiting til his political term was over then announced he has a ten year old kid.

So that makes him just like any other politician. Wait til the term is done..... Then share all the dirty little secrets.
 
Right. Many can't deny Arnold's strong presence in CA. We Californians knew that Arnold has a long history with women- groping, and everything before he was elected to replace Gov. Gray Davis. He knew that, so he did not deny it. Arnold is Arnold.

And why did they elect him?
Really want to know because you say all knew about him and how he had absolutely no experience and still voted for him. there must be something we in other states missed, althought it is none of our business to tell ya'll how to vote, after all we did elect Bush here in Texas. $$$$ is the reason!

He had to given the woman a lot of money to keep her from talking all these years! He still cheated on his wife and coming clean does not made any less
painful for Maria and his children!

I said "many", not all. Try Ronald Reagan. He had no political experience before he was elected as CA governor. It is called the election. As a voter, you have the right to research carefully before you make your decision. You have to take it with a grain of salt. :dunno2:

One thing to say to that question-why did they elect him? Would you rather to vote Gary Coleman, Porn Star, Larry Flynt or.. who else??? Tough choice!

He cannot be the POTUS because he was not born in the U.S. The U.S. Constitution requires that the President is a natural U.S. citizen.

After 25 years, you'd think you're past the point of dealing with incompatibilities and such.

I was just chatting with a friend of mine tonight, a fellow I've known since college, and he said he and his wife were counting their blessings, because they know a lot of couples their age (early 60s) who have divorced over the last year or two. After the last kid has flown the nest, the parents decided to split. You wonder how long they were holding it together "for the sake of the children."

With Maria and Ah-nuld, maybe they were just holding it together for the sake of his political career. Now that's over, maybe they decided that it was time to break up.

Very sad, whatever led to it.
