AOL now has offering closed-captioning-- hot issue

Yesterday, we had been surprised that there is off-line captioning on the internet for CNN so was just I trying to get e-mail to AOL's address, but it has automatically
responding, so nothing here, but just there, here what it said:

Offtopic here: let's see what Javapride has to say.. hmm.. but your attitude stinks.

I agreed with you. At first I don't understand. I might think it relates to Apache server what is Javapride trying to say about? I hope he will explain more here. I might be wrong.

I still not understand about volcomskatz's point. Give us better explain?

And also quicktime and window media support closed caption. I am thrilled to see AOL.

She asked to change the system but no optional in other website, also website about CC isn't on her system and want change into HTML code. HTML code is off because they cannot add HTML feature in post and she want HTML code in CC website but nothing. I just coplied for her on post because nothing to get optional in different system.

How to turn on closed captioning on AOL

Go to AOL and sign in , if you are not a member of AOL you can do so here for free at:

http://www.aol.com/

then click on the menu that says video in the upper right corner with tv symbol logo.

Scroll down to Video catalog

Click on the link that says News

Now click on CNN

Click on one of the videos you want to see

Wait for the commerical to be over ( Usually about 15 seconds tv ad )

Wait for the CNN logo to show up then about at the same time you will see the small CC symbol show up click once then the closed captioning will show up and enjoy ! ;)

Thanks! I finally watched news with closed caption in AOL without login. I have seen this before I saw in NASA.gov that supports its. You should know Quicktime, Window Media, and AOL media have too. I saw QuickTime with Closed Caption in NASA news

Where does Quick Time and Window Media have closed caption ? I don't see it?

I guess AOL is trying to pull in consumers--this CCs thing balances out the hare-brained schemes of AOL in offering free everything and relying only on ads.

Wait. If the ads aren't enough for revune, who do you think will suffer?
