jenni-m. Have you tried SEE (signing exact English?) There are some Dhh folks who for some reason or another don't undy ASL.
Have not tried that, no, but thank you for suggesting. I do ok with finger spelling and the signs I already know (and have 'made up'), and it is easier for me to know what is being said, by feeling their hands if necessary, as I can't follow the movements and hand positions very well. But this might be something I would study one day.

I have bilateral CIs and am totally blind. My retinas fully detached at birth due to retinopathy of prematurity, but were never repaired. Prior to receiving my CIs, I communicated through interpreters using tactile sign (hand over hand). Anyways, hope you enjoy the boards!
