Anyone Else allergic to Nickle?

I'm severly Allergic to Nickle i can't wear anything But pure Gold or Silver Earrings believe me it's not cheap and i found out i know may not be able to wear jeans because of the little button on the inside of the jeans it rubs on my stomach and causes a terriable allergic reaction right now we're trying bandaids over the button to see if that works but i'm wondering if anyone else has to worry about this all the time.

My bitch stepmother is allergic to Nickel, too. Has to wear only real gold or silver jewelry, too, but I dunno how she dealt with the jeans situation. I would ask her, but she's too toxic for me to speak to her. I hope the bandaids works.
 
The bandaids actually worked my reaction didn't get any worse and i wore jeans all day. so this is a good sign for me

i don't know if that's possible. just the way they have the snap/button in there
 
Ummm, learn something new everyday. Useful info... I heard of other metal allergies but not nickel.
 
I've never heard of anyone allergic to nickel...wow, very interesting...

However, I am allergic to *heat* outside....I have to wear short or light 1/2 pant (forgot what its called) and also wear tank tops...all summer! not kidding! If I wear jean or short sleeves...I will get rash all over my body!
 
I am allergy to Nickel. I get all hive and rash if i touch it by accident. I have cream for it. :)
 
It's common for people to be allergic to nickle it's one that is most often passed on through genetics that's why me my mom and my sister have it about 12% of females have it and 6% of men

I'm allergic to high heat (humidity), or I can get rashes on my body but just only if I visit southeast states, midwest and even east coast but not often to get it.
 
Never heard of anyone allergy to nickel before, its interesting to learn here!
 
Yes, you are not only one! I am also allergic to Nickel, too.

I have to use t-shirt inside or knicker to protect nickel to touch my skin... :ugh2:

Here Are the things that are suppose to protect against Nickle reactions.....

1. Clear Nail polish, If you paint what ever is nickle with clear nail polish it may not come in contact with ur skin. Personaly i have not had good experience with this. This is best if your only mildly Allergic.

2. Band-Aids, putting a band-aid over the item that is nickle. This is best if you are mild to moderate. The holes in the band-aid may let little tiny bits of nickle through.

3. Cloth Tape, Putting Tape over the area with nickle. This is best for Mild Moderate and Severe. rarely lets nickle through.

4. Duck-tape why because duck tape fixes everything
