I love key lime pie so much. It is my favorite pie. I wanted to learn how make them so long time. A key limes are very hard to find in any store. Last summer I saw a key limes in the store and I had to buy them. I made my first key lime pie. I tasted and it taste soo bad. I was so upset. I followed a key lime pie's recipe well. My pie taste like env (sp?) milk eww. My husband said it is very hard to make perfect. grrr

Do you have any experience with make key lime pie?
 
Nope and I had never try it! HARD? really? ummm interesting...maybe you could call Food network..911 so Tyler Florence (I think) can help ya make one! ;)

My favorite pie is Lemon Megeruie (sp). I go NUT for it!!! Now I am in mood for it! OH well! LOL! My mom and I would eat them all in one day! :giggle:
 
I will have to try that too, but my fav is Lemon Megeruie pie. My mother used to have to make atleast 1 ever other month for me. Then we found out my cousin loved it too. So she started to bake 2 of them at a time. One for my cousin and I and then another just for me. I havn't had some for a long time.

I love key lime pie, especially after a seafood dinner! Yumm! :P
 
One of the best key lime pies I've eaten was at Red Lobster restaurant. Yummy!! I never made key lime pie before, but it can be googled for recipes.
 
I'll pass on the key lime pie and have blueberry, banana or coconut pie instead. Mmmm! :)

Can you ask your sister to give me key lime pie recipe? I tried my pie and it didnt taste perfect. grr

I was the one that compared the two, and I thought it would taste like Lemon cause i tasted both lemon and limes and they have simlar taste. Just limes have a sweeter, sourer taste then lemons. They are not pies that I was taking abt, I was talking abt the fruit itself. Sorry if I confused anyone
 
Lime tastes cinnamon-y to me. I'd like to try this pie though, never had it before.
