I am finally getting my hunting license, Had some friends who hunt and I would pitch in to earn some sausage and jerky... Well, Im not friends with them anymore. So, I have been wanting to hunt for a long time but never got my license to do so, Just have to complete the field test now.

Just wondering how you cope with the outdoors hunting deer not being able to hear them? Also is there any hunters here in Missouri as I am looking to meet and make some new friends, I know of a few good places to get some awesome seasonings ( special ordered and batched themselves for however many pounds being made ) I just dont know where to hunt.

I know several guys who are profoundly Deaf and got many dead animals, such as bear, deers, and go on. :( I am not a fan of all of this hunting. Of course HOH guys.

I asked them and they say their eyes do catch those creature moving very well without relying on sounds.

Yes, I know hunting can be a touchy subjects with some, but if this was 100+ years ago, it would still be the only way to put food on the table.
My eyes are the same, catch tiny movements and very sensitive to light as they say you lose one sensory and the others compensate for it. I can practically see in the dark ( people dont believe me til we are in pitch dark and I can tell them what they are doing...lol ) Anyways, I hope to meet a few hunters who are HOH/Deaf along the way.

My soon to be Ex didnt understand and thought I was BS'n her about her alarm clock and nightlights, she keeps them on high so she can see at night, I told her its like opening the blinds to the sun in the morning, the room is fully lit up and even with my eyes closed it looks like daylight so its hard for me to get to sleep, let alone I dont sleep much anyways due to pain for my spinal injuries.
