Hi Everyone!
I work with the deaf hockey camp called American Hearing Impaired Hockey Association or AHIHA. I know its a little early to start thinking about this but we host an annual hockey camp in June in Chicago, IL and we are ALWAYS looking for new players young and old! The selesctions for the USA Deaflympic team is made at our camp, and we have participated in the Disabled Festival and the World Deaf Games.
I am assisting with the creation of a women's team and am looking for any deaf/hard of hearing womens hockey players out there that would be interested. Please feel free to get in touch with me either through this thread or by sending me a message so I can get you more information about our camp. Any guys out there that would be interested can feel free to contact me for more info also!
Its a great camp that is very near and dear to my heart. I would suggest it for anyone who plays hockey. Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from everyone interested!
