Hello, I am a new member and a beginning student of ASL. I am a retired RN working to qualify as a terp. I am trying to find someone in Greer, SC that is willing to spend an hour a week just talking to me in ASL. I can pay a small stipend. I realize this is probably a long shot but thought I would try it anyway.
I love this language and since I will probably have to work for the rest of my life I would like to be able to do something I like. Nursing just does not do it anymore and at 65 the hours and the work load are killing me.
I would appreciate any and all comments you might be willing to share on this profession and of course welcome anyone who can sit down and talk to me. Thank you
