any 24 fans?

The 5th season of 24 began last night with an explosive 4 hour premiere, which will conclude tonight. After only 2 hours, I'm already on the edge of my seat, craving more. I'm not going to spoil anything, but last night saw the assassination of former President, David Palmer, and my crush, Michelle Dessler :pissed:. God only knows what next.

Anyone watch?
 
Believe it or not, I've never seen the show but I TIVOed the first installment last night and haven't seen it yet. Second installment's tonight....
 
That's RR's fave show, he asked me to watch it with him to see if I would like this show, so I did last nite the show ran for 2 hours, it was awesome and I couldn't want to see the next 24 hours which will be on tonight....That show driving me nuts cause I can't wait to see what happens next....I think I'm losing my mind here.... :giggle:
 
Count me in as a 24 fan. But, I think the show is already stretching reality.

How can the world's most wanted man, stroll into the scene of the crime, and 150+ agents not notice him?!?

How did he enter the hallways leading to baggage personnel offices? I thought those areas were the 'secure' part of the airport, requiring ID, cavity searches, etc.

That all said, it appears that 24 is killing off previous characters. My bet is that Tony's the next to go into 24 heaven. There's always the young character that's endangered, such as Kimberly being adbucted, etc. Now, it's a girlie boy taking on such a role. :)

If 24 continues to stretch things beyond any sense of reality, I may just as well as quit watching it altogether.

Are you kidding me?! The show is nothing more than a reality stretch. Do you honestly believe all this stuff could possibly and the whole mystery be solved in a 24 hour period, and you're gonna complain about the details.

I just read the spoilers for the next couple of upcoming episodes. Holy crap!

Yeah, you do have a good point there. In watching 24 in past seasons, I was prepared to suspend any belief in reality, but only to a degree. Bottom line, it's still entertaining and is a delightful escape from reality. :)
 
Another episode tomorrow! Talk about an addicting Televsion show!!

I will sit through an entire monday of work thinking about it. Sad huh?
