Another 9-11th based movie...

I forget the name of this film that's coming into theatres soon, and it's starring Nicolas Cage...do you really want to see another movie that's based on true events of the september 11th attacks? it was only 5 years ago, dammit! since when do they think of something that sadistic and depressing to make it into entertainment and make it for money and...just for money? In my opnion, I think we should NOT make a movie based on the terrorist attacks 'til 20 or 50 years later cause things will change then but did things really change already? not exactly. we are still in war with the middle east and we still have not find bin laden and president bush is still obsessed wasting our current into war, sending soilders who gets killed everyday, and the war there is going to be a VERY long war...*sigh* and it seems that we are fighting the wrong ppl too. we are just wasting our time and the terrorist are all over the world now just because of Bush who failed to find bid laden and capture him dead or alive...there are already terrorists attacks happening in Japan, Britain, Iraqi, and of course, even America.

with those kind of films being made linked to the september 11th, it still brings memories and even makes ppl even more depressed because the war still isnt over yet, and the soilders are dying everyday, and bin laden is still running like nothing happened and Bush just sit there and try to change Iraqi and thats it! when will they ever SHOW some respect?
 
I think it gonna be good to watch it whenever it come out. So we can learn something from it. My deaf friend was there and he was running as hell and smokes went by him and he kept running all the way til the other side. He's a former soccer player. Lucky he's alive. He told me all about it. He had full of dirts all over his body and face. He had to go to hostipal to clean his lungs out. He'll never forget it. I agreed it should be made like 20 or more yrs later but I will be old by that time and might not have chance to see it.

I dont think they will do it just to make money... I think they might use the money to help WTC memorial or something like that. They are not stupid to do this just for the money for themself.
 
Steel X, You are forgetting something. Do not blame President Bush. Remember the WTC truck bombing in the early 1990's and Clinton never did a thing about it, really and I am very happy we have a tough U.S. President who won't bow down to the muslim terrorists. The liberals will bow down to the muslim terrorists for sure ! The movie, I am going to see it. Does it really matter if it is made 5 years or 50 years later? We need to be reminded about 9-11, the bad guys and the heroes and the superme sacrifice Americans made to help anothers. Too many people are asleep or forgot about 9-11 and that there are people trying to kill us and we need to be prepared to stop muslim terrorism. I am sure we have stopped so many more terrorist incidients that they can't talk about due to sensitive U.S. national security and rest assured under President Bush we will continue to go after the terrorists. Osama Bin Laden will be found and Osama Bin Laden will be dead sooner or later.

Actually Bin Laden had their groups bombing at WTC during President Bush's dad, George Bush Sr. Bush Jr. just was mad at Iraq because they tried to kill his father this is why He sent troopers for a war in Iraq. If you disagreed because he just sent those troopers to Iraq to stop Saddam because he been killing people or WMD reason? Did you know there are many other bad countries as Iraq ... why Bush Jr was only target at Iraq? Of course he sent troopers to Iraq because they tried to kill his dad.

Bush is big liar and a murdeer. He should be on death row now for killing those innocent Iraq people that has nothing to do with Saddam. For example you live in a home with all neighborhoods, one of the neightborhood has a terrorist leader and the other country will target your home area with bombs and killing you and your family as long they got the Terrorist's leader... they dont care about you and ur family but only that terrorist's leader. That's what Bush is doing to Iraq sending airstrikers and bombings in Baghdad... I saw on news said US airstrikers killed 9 kids in school in Baghdad. 9 kids had nothing to do with this! Bush doesn't care! John Kerry wanted to remove airstrikes but only use troopers that's it. I like that plan better than Bush's murdering plan. John Kerry even offer more protections on troopers because he was ex trooper. John Kerry know what he is doing.

Bush did warned to all of us voters before he beat John Kerry on Winning president job that John Kerry will increase the gas price if he become president... ha ha look at what Bush just did! Our gas price went high!! That SOB Bush fooled you bush lovers. I had voted John Kerry and did you John Kerry supporters? I hope Hillary Clinton will win 2008 elections and change us back to normal. I am gonna vote for Hillary and I hope rest of you will vote as well... otherwise the SOB Reps will win again.

Found the name of the movie and it's called "World Trade Center" coming on Aug 9th.
 
Just saw on CNN news today talking about this movie. They said they are doing this movie to earn the money for building the Memorial of WTC 911. They need 512 millions to complete built it. So they are not doing this to make the money for themself.
 
I am not going to be in mood to watch it.. its like start over with emotions..

*sigh* give us a break.. and respect to those lost loved ones.

Well if you watch it you are helping these lost loved families out. Since they are doing the movie to raise the money for building the Memorial. They said they need 512 million dollars.

My dad was Nam soldier and he is glad to have memorial out there because he has friends in the nam that got killed. He felt we showed some respect.
 
I already watch it today... It's good movie but it make me feel sad about WTC. :(
 
I think it is to soon for the movie, It seems like it just happened yesterday even though it was 5 years ago
 
Whether or not this movie may bring painful memories for some, although, it's based on the rescue of a couple volunteer firefighters...despite the fact that this traumatic event has effected us all in some ways, yet, being able to 'see' how touching some of the heroics that obviously did happened (and many too....). In a mindset, a gripping tale touching and impacting the lives of those who were there and how they (the heros...) responded.

This movie doesn't take in consideration for what governments were about, before, during or after the attack. Please let's keep governments out of this. Let's focus (for those who are willing to) on the lives of the people 'in' the movie...I'm sure for those of us who will see the movie...it'll leave an imprint upon our hearts forever. ;)
 
It hit low 21 million dollars in week 1. Bad sign, man. Guess they can't reach 512 mil for the memorial.
