There will be an annular solar eclipse on 3 October visible from Europe, Africa, western Asia and India. The path of greatest eclipse will start over the Atlantic, go over Spain and Africa into the Indian ocean. Annular eclipses are eclipse when the moon's disk is seen to be inside the sun's disk because the moon happens to be too far away to completely cover the sun during the eclipse. So you'll need to do something like project an image of the sun with a piece of cardboard with a little hole in it to see the eclipse on another piece of cardboard.
