An Angolan sign language dictionary for deaf people will be presented this Friday in southern Benguela province, by the board of the local Special Education School.
According to the director of the institution, Osvaldo Gomes, the dictionary specifically covers gestures and is not only used in special schools, but by all deaf people.
According to him, this Friday it is also foreseen the inauguration of a solar system of communication for the deaf. The same apparatus works with electrical energy.
The activities are part of the commemorations of the 15th anniversary of the creation of the Special Education School of Benguela and in the African Children's Day, June 16.
