It's easy. Type in ""green river shale formation" in Google and you'll find lots of info!

What I'm getting at is the amount potential oil to tap into. Remember, two kinds of oil - conventional and unconventional.
 
The more that people post about oil... the more I doubt that one person is a reputable hydrologist... or geologist... considering the people I know in geology and paloeontology says otherwise.

I want to talk about the designer shoes!!!! I stand corrected because I do have a few pairs of designer shoes. One pair of Ferragamo flats, two pairs of Brighton. Do Birks count? I have several pairs of those--two pairs of mary janes, a pair of clogs and a pair of sandals. I love Birks. :cool2:

Meanwhile, the Green River Formation do exists where the oil (kerogen) is locked up in shale rock formations in three states. You might want to read up on these things regarding unconventional oil we have here in the U.S.

Current reserves estimates range between 800 billion to 1.4 trillion barrels of oil (the most economically attractive deposits that is). Either way, that's a lot of oil in just three states only versus Saudi Arabia's with some ~250 billion barrels of oil. North America alone is one of the most oil abundant country that would put the Middle East countries to shame.

Yep. As an attorney, you should know all about that. There are those unethical "psychologists" that will testify any way desired for a buck. Physicians as well.
