America's worst french fries

When I eat fries, I always get chicken nuggets because if I order even a small fry with a regular burger, I will blow my diabetes out of control. I miss eating fries with burgers. :(

As much as I don't like McDonnie's, I do like their fries.

I think Mc Donalds fries are the worst I've ever had. They taste like salt. I like Del Taco fries. They taste like potatoes.

Some fast food places use too much grease, or too much salt, or too less salt... Homemade french fries is just right.

you can get sweet potato fries....

I recently had some of those in a restaurant and they were coated in cinnamon sugar.

I was disappointed. We have them at home but never put sweet seasonings on them. More like olive oil and sea salt and rosemary.

I don't like them sweet either. I like spicy or just salt. I should try the rosemary.:D

I like homemade french fries. I dislike frozen french fries.

Actually, they're much better since tran fats been cut. They cut the fat to low. I find it taste quite better than old day.

Well, I cant and never could stand Mc Donalds fries. Maybe there a little better , but not to me

I don't like french fries, but I do make roasted potato sticks. Basically a baked french fry. I use either sweet potatoes or russet potatoes. Never put anything on the sweet potatoes except the olive oil and Mrs. Dash. We don't use salt much in this house. A 1 pound container of salt lasts about 2 years.

Botti, I wouldn't like sweet potato fries with cinnamon-sugar either, I'd be disappointed too. I much prefer the way you do them at your place.
I use a LOT of olive oil at home:)

Bott, I totally make the fries like you do!

I don't like McDonald's fries, they're usually very wimpy. :p The others..eh. I rarely eat fast food.

Big fan of criscut fries- Carls Jr. Too high in calories though. Arbys curlys are awesome too- really only eat them like once every other year though. Otherwise, Carls Jr regular fries are pretty great. You can actually taste potato. OH, and Denny's seasoned fries dipped in ranch ... Mmmmm.

Absolutely don't like McDonalds fries (taste like grease and not a thing else), nor In N Out Burger's.

I expected a lot when I had sweet potato fries. I got some premade ones from Trader Joes... they're sweet- I suppose that's how they're suppose to taste? But I dunno... sweet potatoes seemed better off made like yams (are they the same thing? haha).

Sweet potatoes and Yams are the same thing.

I have heard of Trader Joes and saw their website. Can't think that it's worth me ordering online from and there's not one anywhere near here. (South Florida)

The reason I don't do fried fries, is the fat content. I like the baked fries because of that. Low fat, lose weight. Gotta love it. I still have 70 pounds to go.
