American Sign Language game night slated March 12

Purdue University North Central American Sign Language Club will host a Game Night on March 12 in the Library-Student-Faculty Building Room 144 for ASL students, the deaf community and the public.

The event will feature Nina Coyer, a deaf ASL interpreter and professor at Eastern Kentucky University, and Jason Maloney, a deaf limited-term lecturer of ASL at PNC. ASL and English interpreting will be provided.

Activities will begin at 5:30 with a Children's Hour featuring storytelling and fun for children ages 4 and older. Deaf and hearing are welcome to enjoy the event. Youngsters are parents are welcome to attend and leave early on this school night.

From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. there will be a variety of ASL games and activities followed by an hour of ASL storytelling. Guests may come and go during the evening as needed.
