Am I the only one who gets a weird humming/buzzing/dronning noise in my ears/head once in a great while? I wanted to see if anyone else who was deaf got this aside me. I asked a doc about it once and he told me it had to do with something about fluid in my ears draining or something (I forgot what exactly but it was something along those lines! :eek3: )

It never really bothers me... I used to get this 'noise' in my feet too when I was going to bed :|... No, I swear I'm sane. I promise! Lol.

yeah i got that noises in my ear all the time and i have some advice for you you can control it b changing its volume or giving it an beat so bascially you ll be able to have an organic stereo in y our eyars it works for me

Sometimes I hear banging noises when I'm in bed but other noises such as buzzing or whatever you said above, I haven't experiences that, so I :dunno:

i got that once in while and its almost like being high but not really. sometime it got so intense that i cant focus at all other times its toleratable but lucky i dont get it everyday.

I am hearing and I have ringing in my ears all the time, some days I can ignore it and some days I dont want to get out of bed. Tinnitus is not fun

Hey, Lucia thanks for the technical name! Now I can look it up :)

On a side note I realize I meant to title the topic "Am I the only one?" this is what I get for posting on a forum while sleep deprived :|

all I want buy remote control.. *press button* turn it off permantly...

Remote control?? I would like to have one too.

Ive had tinnitus for years and most of time it is ringing or beeping type of noise. Ive learned to relax and not worry too much which helps for me. Also ignoring it by concentrating something else such as reading, and if its bad, I turn up the volume on tv and wear hearing aids to drown out the head noises. Its a pain in ass at times but have to learn to live with it.

William Shatner from Star Trek have it very bad and he admitted to thinking about suicide but went to see a doctor. The doctor gave him some type of method to cope with it and he learned to live with it. I think the method was to become used to the tinnitus noises and let it become part of background noise.

yeah but i cant wear hearing aid in my left ear.. lol.. so it sucks.. lmao.. theres no useable hearing at all in my left ear as its full deaf now. i only wear hearing aid in my right ear.. i just ignore the annoying sounds anyway as im used to it but really annoying.. lol
