Allowing your points to co-exist with others' points in forums

It is far easier to examine others' issues than it is ours, right? ;)
About the issue of hypocrisy... that is a bit more personal, and that should be bought up in PMland or in MSN or wherever is more comforable for both parties (or the accused). Otherwise, take it as face value that this is an opportunity to learn more about yourself through others' "mistakes" as you see it.. allow others their own processes at the same time, ya know? This is where it is easy to nitpick on others about their stuff.. and you just slip up. Who knows? Maybe they don't think that way.. but instead think the same of you... who's right?... and so the wheel goes and goes..

But yeah... there has to be a conclusion to this, but it's up to everyone really.. and it shouldn't be our concern if people "change" or not. That is a personal choice... I'm only talking about how the posts are made in a debate born of a discussion board. How we respond to each other. Know what I mean? :)

I agree that it takes 2 to work out on flexibile and acceptable ...OR ignore it and move on to other thread, if feelin' like it.

I am on both ways ( 2 ways street ) ... dependin' on what I see in some certain members and how they respond to others. FYI, I am very outspoken person and, no one can change that.

I do admit that it's really eyesore to see someone respondin' to the same person over and over when they are bashin' at each other...and I tend to jump in once in awhile to say to "knock it off" and say somethin' about it. Other times, I just ignore it when I mind my own business where there's somethin' I find so interestin' elsewhere.

*Shrugs* Oh, well ... that's me, really. :)
 
I come much later to this thread, I have read up on all of the posts here and I agree with Oceanbreeze 100% and also with Liza. Everyone has their own opinions, but it is only a matter of respect and listening. I agree with OB how energy-draining it is when I can't express my honest opinion out in the open without having other members get on my back saying how wrong I am, etc... This thread rocks, Liza, and do I still have to pay admission? :P

After reviewing this great thread crafted by Liza, it saddens me for the direction this thread was heading and it's really uncalled for, thus, posts were removed (some which were placed in the Mod Corner for administration review)....

It seems that some members are forgetting the RULES that are set herein for Alldeaf.com...not sure of the rules? A good suggestion is to familiarize yourself with these set of rules so there isn't any bashing, insulting, finger-pointing, name-calling--bottom line: The 'key'...RESPECT RESPECT...it's much easier for members to simply 'agree to disagree'. This does need to stop, otherwise members will be getting warnings or get banned.

Let's stick to the topic for what the creator intended with this thread (keep the drama(s) and unwanted attention out of AD).
