the bees wud chase ya if u get freaked out and run away... the bees do just the same things as the bears or wild animals do. you have to control urself so they wont bother ya.

I hate bees period! long time ago when I wore floral dreses or something bees wud think I'm a flower so I stopped wearing flower dresses and etc.. cuz UGH of bees..

well, from what i know, the killer bees dont like the noises. they wud attack to anything or any one that makes the annoying noises. there are other type of bees that arent annoyed from the noises like yellowjackets or honeybees.

i remember florida has the killer bees somewhere in the areas as well as other states like texas.

I'm not really afraid of bees if I just move slowly and not do anything threatening to the bees, as long as they fly around you and haven't sting you....yet.

so, with girls like my ex, a bee was flying around her and she just screamed like someone's gonna kill her, and she told me she screamed cause she didnt want to get stung :roll: but man, I told her bees will not sting you if you dont theaten them in any ways that they would feel danger from you, is all.

How Do I Know If I Have a Sting Allergy?

Your doctor can determine if you are allergic to bee and wasp stings with a simple skin test, using purified, freeze-dried venom. However, only about 20% of people with a positive skin test suffer severe reactions to a sting.

What Are the Treatments?

For most stings, minimal treatment such as a cold compress or ice pack, is sufficient. If you have multiple stings or a severe allergic reaction, you need medical help at once.

For pain, take aspirin or acetaminophen. For strong reactions, try diphenhydramine or another nonprescription antihistamine.

For children, use cough medicine containing antihistamine or children's diphenhydramine.

For anaphylactic shock, the usual treatment is the bronchodilator epinephrine. You may give yourself an injection from a bee-sting kit; but after the injection, see a doctor promptly for further treatment. (Note: Most bee-sting kits are designed for adults; for children, read the directions and ask your doctor.)

How Can I Prevent a Sting Reaction?

To avoid sting-induced shock if you are allergic, carry a bee-sting kit (be sure you know how to administer a self-injection). You should also wear a Medic Alert bracelet or necklace describing your allergy.

If you have had a severe reaction to a sting and a positive venom skin test, venom immunotherapy — a series of weekly shots of venom — works well to prevent anaphylaxis.

Reduce your chances of being stung by avoiding brightly colored, white, or pastel clothing. Don't use cosmetics or perfume with floral scents. Food odors attract insects, especially yellow jackets, so be alert when you are cooking or eating outdoors.

Me too....I always flip out when a bee is near me....U could ask RR, he always end up laughing...

LoL, Angel.. my fiance is like that too.. he would kill it with his hands.. no jokes.. he thinks I'm being paranoid.. 3 years ago.. I was unpacking stuff in a new home.. as I opened the back door.. the wasp (red) stung me right at the tip of my eye line, it burned like hell! Chris was like..WTF?! what happened? I told him that I got stung and he looked at it and saw the spot.. he said it was very damn close to stinging my eyeball. So, I put ice pack on it for about 30 minutes.. Later that night, it started to swell, nearly closed my eye... ended up with a black eye too.. for almost 2 weeks! I got stung a lot when I was a kid too.. long story! I just don't have a thing for bees.. ugh!
