Ok....few examples.

1996 and 1999 Grand Caravan are the same thing. Someone may be able to get a loan for a 1999 Grand Caravan, but they will be turned down trying to get a loan for 1996 because it is too old. So therefore, they'll be able to afford a 1999 Grand Caravan, but a 1996 Grand Caravan would be too much money.

Same thing with 1997 and 1999 Wranglers....

I heard of an auto show that allowed for 1988 and older vehicles only. Someone had a 1988 Grand Wagoneer in auto show. Someone else had a 1991 Grand Wagoneer, but was denied an entry into auto show because 1991 is too new. If you know old Jeeps, you know that 1988 and 1991 Grand Wagoneers are the same thing.

As many of you know, low miles are better than high miles, but when a vehicle is old, the mileage doesn't really matter too much.

Age do matter like rust(famous at midwest) that turn vehicles in junk quick. I prefer buy a 2-4 years old vehicles and not worry about problem for long times.

Auto shows. I like to see rare old cars like 1900-1970. 1980-2008 are too common and boring design to me.

I love that design.

They fucking ugly design and that's why they were disconnected at 2002.

2009, they finally back and copy design from 60-70's type.

One of my friend in HS had a red 1994 Camaro. I think that 1993 and newer Camaros were ok. Not so cool. Those older vehicle made back such as late 1960s Camaro, Firebird, Cudas were cool!! Not those made now.

I loved those 1963-1991 full size Wagoneers/Grand Wagoneers. My Grandpa had a 1989 that rusted rather quickly. Chicago winters killed it.

oh.... I thought this thread was something about dating older/young person...

:io:

Discontinued.

Not because they were ugly, but sales were down, profits were down, time to put it out of its misery.

Thinking again, No one want buy ugly cars then it was not popular that time. GM had to shut Camaro down till 2010 and I noticed 2010's body looks almost like 1970's then 2010 Camaro become popular now.

Mustangs too. Both newer Mustangs/Camaros (hard tops/convertibles) are hot sexy in SoCal...I think the Mustangs are more popular for young motorists... but I saw an old lady who stop by the pump island to filling her brand new Camaro. I like both but I side with Chevy motors....

In general, 1980's Japanese cars were great on gas mileage and looks looked not too bad depending what kind it is. This is what I had, a 1983 Honda Civic wagon which was my first car. It looked exactly like this one, same color. It got 40 mpg!

This 1986-1987 Honda CRX Si was my dream car back then but not anymore.
