am I the only one who thinks the movie will suck?? it's rated PG-13 the cartoon ad tomuch gore and violence and sexuel activity to be any where near that. what are your thoughts on that?

did you even see it? if not, then how do you know it would suck?

it looks like it's gonna kick ass.

hot girl indeed. :smoking:

i have only seen the trailer so far i will go see it I just think i may be disapointd compaired to the old cartoons.

:werd: Heh!

I am looking forward to seeing the movie. I've seen a few of the cartoon series. They recently released the whole series on DVD last week, but I was disappointed because there's no subtitles or captions on it. Of course, this was to be expected... since it was made by MTV. Grr!

The weird part is, Paramount distributes the MTV DVDs. Paramount always caption the movies and their special features on the DVD.

I guess it's MTV who is exclusively handling the DVDs which is the problem.

MTV did not caption Aeon Flux DVD??? jeez, they're just like Nike. Nike never captions their tv ads. both MTV and Nike make more than enough money to pay for captioning. Ontopic, I am rather reluctant about this live action Aeon Flux, because it was originally an cartoon which has a style that I don't think will translate well to live action. I think I'll pass, and protest MTV for not captioning their shit.

I think it may have to with the age of the cartoon, old stuff dosent have to be captiond till 2006 i think, it still sux when i say episodes a year or so ago their were no captions, a letter to mtv seems to be in order.

mabee a few leters?

It's not exactly because of the year. A lot of old shows from 1980s and 1970s were released on DVD with subtitles and/or captions.

VamPyroX, and all.

I found since yesterday, because I have a region-free DVD player and it is Region-2 have forbidden subtitles for hearing impaired!! Whoo!!
Check this out!

http://www.mediadis.com/video/detail.asp?id=152442

Please read and make sure carefully to look at coding, there is a word Region 2 and having subtitles inside the area is English for hearing impaired. :P

I hopefully, I will make my money to buy this!! But, sadly, I should save my money for the class trip for my school, oh well! Darn it!! :aw:

[sorry, excuse me, I trying to clean my grammar to be polite] You have a great day!

Keith.

Will it work on my DVD player?

:nono: :nono: No, unless you have a region-free player. Region 2 has all of PAL, that's doesn't work for your American TV set in U.S.A., however, this is my DVD player is code-free will work on any DVD wherever if it is NTSC, PAL or SECAM. Then you will be all right with code-free that will give work on any DVD will working on your TV if you are in U.S.A. I live in U.S.A. too! :P

Another topic-- I almost forget to tell an important information before buying it, because I don't want to waste more money or I will broke it. :eek2: If you are buying a import DVD, any DVD will be cost more than U.S. it about will add up about between $3-15 due the shipping & handling costs. I don't know that how it much money for that? Maybe if you want to ask with people because I have no idea about how it much? :ugh:

If you have any questions, comments, or injuries, please feel free to contact me. :ty:

I'm sorry, I not have a new letters from them about this subject. So now,
for long... I want to help my deaf friends at alldeaf.com, I need to be hero, please attention carefully, OK.

Anyways, I need a link for this Region 2, there is a link from Tesco.com:
http://www.tesco.com/entertainment/product.aspx?R=659954&bci=6|DVD

I have a region-free DVD player this is JVC is modified DVD player that worked for Region 2 in this Region 1 zone.
Be warned... if you don't have a modified; region-free DVD player as unless you have region NOT FREE DVD player and those DVD players made from USA won't work on Region 1 DVD player that you have not modified are yet. Get this one:
Code Free DVD Player Region Free All Zone, All code Recorder PAL/NTSC Multi Region Code Free Player
this site that you would be buying it so you don't need to modified yourself seem as do-it-yourself. This site that my dad bought it for me on my birthday. Also, for this DVD player while I playing on Region 1 movie does have CC for myself. My DVD player system is flawless!! I love that! I happy with that without region coding!

Guess what?! All MTV DVDs from UK have
English for the Hearing Impaired-- I am sorry, I know you don't like
"English for the Hearing Impaired" are in your deaf culture in U.S.A.
:topic: But for this message for "Hearing Impaired" for me not making any sense to
me. (Back to the on-topic)

Another great news for me!! I can't wait for Beavis and Butt-head will coming from UK release on October 2, 2006 so I will get for Christmas! Yay! But I hope it would be officially for UK release :fingersx:that would have English Subtitles for Deaf and Hard-of-hearing!

Saw that movie couple months ago, I thought how odd when I compare from original cartoon on MTV and the real-life.

Some, I like the action on this movie is, but the story show bit confuse and lack.

Via 8700g~
I don't think the movie is suck?? Its more actions than talk itself. :) I would watch that movie thirty times or more. Its never bored movie! That's my opinions.
