Hi All,
Im looking for some advice if anyone is willing to help!
Im 26, and for the last year or so i've noticed that im finding it quite hard to hear what people are saying to me if theres alot going on. I mean, if im serving a customer at work, or talking to someone with music in the background. I find myself asking for people to repeat themselves or kind fo leaning in to hear better.
I went and did a specsavers hearing test last week and the results were about 60% correct and i didnt hear the rest.
What i find odd is that i cna hear fine when just talking one on one, with earphones, etc. From what i've read online i think i may have bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. Does this seem like the case?
I know i should book a proper in depth hearing test and i will when i get some free time, but i kind of dont want to go and book on if its nothing to worry about, although i am concerned that i'll need to wear hearing aids.
One last thing, if i do have this type of loss, should i expect it to get worse?
Thanks All
