About South Carolina..

Who lives there? And is it good for a family to live there and have the best education and playground for the kids? Anything else you should add about it? Any good locations? :ty:
 
North and South Carolina is a rip off to be honest with you. The living cost is unreal, it's hard to afford food which nothern food is a lot cheaper.... No No I honestly don't think the education in the south is not good. I've been there and done it, but if your lucky and found the right things you need I wish you best of luck in the world!

Maybe NC costs more but SC is cheaper than the North. What other places' cost of living are you comparing?

The public school system in SC is not good. There are good private and Christian schools.
 
Many school in South are bad, of course...
 
I have ALWAYS wanted to move to South Carolina, like live near Myrtle Beach, and the school educations might not be good, but I see they have good private schools. Jobs are everywhere, but VERY hard to get in. I been trying to get in the government jobs in South Carolina, but VERY HARD... South Carolina have a cheapest gas than up North, like 10 to 20 cents save on gas.

I have grew up in Myrtle Beach every whole summers for 13 years of my life and it's always will be my 2nd home to me. My family owns a beach condo in North Myrtle Beach for 15 years and I am going back to there next week to sleep my old bed in Myrtle Beach.

No !!!!! There are many fine schools , Christian schools, military acamedys, private schools and I would not put my children in one of those public schools where the U.S. Dept. of Education controls and brainwashes the next generation of kids to be good for nothing kids that turn out to be garbage. In my time, there were kids that were time tested, hard working, very resourceful and skilled. Today we have garbage public school system. It did not use to be that way, also since Felixkat930 is jewish, she can send her kids to jewish private schools. I am sure they have them somewhere, I am not sure where but they are there for sure.

Ive lived in both area's so I know what it's like to live in the south. It's not all that great to be honest, the schools I mean all of them anit good, even private schools. They may be great to you but not for me...

how can you say that south schools are fine schools after you tells all of us that in the south isn't good at all....I beleive that what you said??

The Southern universities and private schools are much better and in some areas the public schools are actually very good because it is a 100 % White area, very safe with no excessive problems like we are seeing in integrated schools where it is just a nightmare for both White latinos and blacks and the teachers, parents and all that are concerned.
 
I'm attended LA school (LAUSD) and our school is 62% Hispanic, 16% are white, 16% are Asians, 4% are Pacific Islanders and 2% are blacks, and education is good, alot better than in last 15 years ago. Only 70% Seniors passed CAHSEE (state exam for english and math) and standard test are higher than average. Many schools in LA are much better than any public schools in South (including 80% or above are white).

Public school in South, don't matters if 80% are white, or 100% are white are still bad education, some of them are alot worse than Compton HS.
