It is pretty sad that the Wii lacks the hard disk drive but good thing Nintendo has finally came to its senses to update their system thru another firmware update.
In order to give you more storage, you can use the SD card as another channel for the SD card memory slot, on whatever games you stored to the SD card including virtual console and acarde games to the SD card when you have too much room in the orginal channel room. So two channels are seperated into one for the orginal and other for the SD card.
While that is pretty much improved, but not so improved that it still lacks add on or updates to such games as Xbox360 and PS3 do.
