a rant- damn stupid cab!!!

After I visited someone in hosp, so I decided to take cab home instead of waiting for bus that go by my home late because it's :madfawk: cold outside, it is 10 temp outside!!!!, so the ride went well. When we got to my house, the driver doesn't know how to communicate with deaf, so he kept on talking, talking, and I told him I am D E A F!!!! please write paper and pen, so he refused... and I told him ok fine I am going get my brother, so I did, and then I told him I pay with credit card since someone gave me not enuff $ for cab fare, and he said he tried, and can't get through, so my brother had to pay for cab.. and I checked my balance.. I have enuff money.... dumb cab driver... he made me really :mad2: :pissed: off!!!! stupid green and white cab.. tomorrow I will wait for late bus, PERIOD!!!

That reminds me when I was first moved in Hawaii. Sheesh. Also I never forget that time when I went to M'sian recently arghhh cab.

( sorry for the off topic posting curiousity got the best of me hehe)

and eggert grrl u know ur not alone i had to deal with a dork of a taxi driver i told him 4 times i will need to be dropped off then picked up 3 hrs later after my testing well he got all pissy and soon as we arrived to the desination he got out and threw my suitcase on the ground and i was all the pissed cuz i had a important device in there ( my alarm clock and my only one for travelling) OH he got chewed out by me, then i went to take my test then the protcor took me to the airport and i arrived home only to relize the fuck of a fuck up.... the cabbie was on the same flight with me and i just sat farrrrrrrrrr away from him and zoomed out the aiport without him following me OH he pissed me off good i got reimbursed from the DVR for his attidute!

No I ain't from hawaii. I have lived there (Honolulu) about two to three yrs. Then I moved out of Honolulu to other state. Which island do u live?
Nodding I know what u been deal with. Same way what I had deal with.

uhh my impression is that most cab in chicago area have this policy if the credit card does not work, the ride is free did you check for any notices about that in the cab itself?

Hey rachel :)

Yea, Suburban cabs sucks, I suggest try Airport Taxi, it's my favorite cab company, they're nice cabbie sometime somali or white cabbies.. Make sure to call the Airport Taxi, tell them "I have a credit card in my hand" then they can send out the credit card onboard taxi, mostly they use old fashioned machines like place a card and slide roller machine to make print as carbon copies.. I don't trust wireless credit card system.. a wardriver (hacker/cracker) can steal your CC over wireless system..
 
yeah I used to take cab to school in h.s but one day the cab driver (it was a he) was drunk my mom was nervous and got pissed and i had to change 3 different company of buses while I was in h.s sheesh cuz on record it said I have cerebral palsy and i had to deal with other metal retarded kids but I was okay with that but I was disappointed i wud never ride with normal kids when I was goin off to csdf but yeah before I got transferred to deaf school I was fine with riding with other deaf students so.. :) thank god I don't have to deal with kind of bus transportation for school now I can ride public transportation like normal person since I graduated from csdf back in '99 ;)

Ahh ok I know where that is.. I've been there, also been to Lanai, Maui, Kauai and Molokai...

OIC,, weird and funny things are that few of ppls moved to Hawaii and lived there shortly then moved to other state :rofl:.. Anyway, btw how long have u lived on Big Island? I lived on Oahu Island for about 3 yrs. something like that. I kind of miss out there. But I like Kauia more... Anyway...
