A Question For All Males Here

I ocassionally get to go out to my friends country home
and being that I love country life I was one day out
cleaning the hen house which was in really bad shape,
I was shoveling out about 2 ft. of manure, had to clean the
perches, walls and ceilings so can say I was very filthy
and after hosing the interior of this structure down with
water I was pretty much covered from head to toe in ----.

When I was done one of my neighbors friends walked up to me
and completely embarassed me by asking me if I would go
out on a date with him, although I said no I am curious
as to what it is that would compell a man to approach a
woman and ask such a question when she's at her worst
appearance wise?

Maybe that guy who approached you because he likes a woman who works hard out in the farm/country. It could probably mean he likes tough women. :)

I think it's like same thing as if a guy sees a woman working on her car or doing carpentry or something. We men are impressed by that sort of thing, a woman who isn't afraid to do work traditionally thought of as "man's work". That's why so many men like women who are 'tomboys'. These are the type of woman who'd more likely enjoy going camping and fishing with them, or doing other of the same things the men enjoy.

that's what I thought.

I was once working on my Thunderbird and one of my male
neighbors wanted to assist and that just completely angered
me because from my perspective all I could see was he was
trying to impress me by coming over and acting macho , when
I get involved in a project as such I prefer to just be left alone
by someones who's only objective seems to be to try and get me in bed,
to me men as such are a complete turn off.

Maybe, he saw you before you got dirty.

Or...

He likes dirty women. If that's the case, you might as well roll yourself in the mud before every date with him. ;)

Although I love the country, I do admit prejudice in saying there is
nothing that a hickified man has that I want, now give me
John Schneider any day and that's the kind of guy I'd love
to be married to.

John Schneider from "The dukes of Hazzard", "Smallville" I have
been messed up over that guy since I was a kid, if he got
any more handsom I'd be passed out on the floor.

Maybe he will see if you will be willing to work at his place's manure?

I was wondering that myself, I own my own place but
there was once a guy around here who asked me if I'd be his roommate
because he thought it would be wonderful to have someone around who could maintain his home, he then proceeded to tell me what all needed to
be repaired.

My friend who has a friend who's a member here e-mailed me
and wants me to clarify why I'm prejudice against hicks, now
I'm getting an earload by phone, anyway to explain myself
it nothing more than a matter of what I prefer in a man, I
don't care for the accent yet I myself speak with a texan accent.

I don't listen to country music, I'm not into the country theme,
nor want to be married to a guy who likes all the things I can't stand
so excuse me Lola for my wanting to have a say in who I marry.
