A miserable failed weekend for me

a choice? not exactly a choice if you have bills to pay and mouths to feed.

30 hrs on weekend + 40+ hrs on weekdays. doesn't sound like a choice. this is what happens when the riches get their way and when regular misguided folks buy into GOP's scam such as supporting tax cuts for the riches.

Well, politics is off limits here so I won't go into that. But, if you have bills to pay and mouths to feed, it seems having extra work would be a lot better than not being able to find extra work. IMO, a failed weekend would be not being able to find work while watching bills stack up and mouths going without food. There are a lot of people out there that would love to be working right now.

that's the point. that's a miserable weekend for all of us while the riches have wonderful weekends. stop buying into the riches' scams and thinking we all will be just fine. :cool2:

FYI - we're not talking about unemployment. it's irrelevant. we're talking about abnormally large amount of work for small cash. nobody should have to work this harder than slaves just to pay the bills and feed families. it's simply unsustainable and destructive for American families and the future of America.

I believe most "slaves" would take exception with your comparison. The OP was about a regrettable mistake, the context here is important.

exactly. people have made a regrettable mistake by buying into the riches' scam. truly regrettable. still going on for years. when will they ever wake up and start realizing that they can bring back wonderful weekends?

:dunno:
