Glad you got a free paper, but after reading that article, I am pretty sad that people are going to get the idea that people with hearing loss are like that woman.

She sounds like she has huge mental problems. She's been deaf all her life, and getting this implanted aid suddenly allowed her to cut her hair? And not worry what people were thinking?

That's something she should have had psychiatric help for years previously.

How sad, and I wonder how her family helped with her development of such a poor concept of self worth.

There are tons out there that feel the same way though. Sounds like she was a pretty outgoing child, part of the article talks about how she approached another girl and made friends.

With the rash of mass shootings today,many of which having being connected to meds, I am not sure "seeking psychiatric help" isn't a dangerous solution. It is becoming apparently that psychiatry is just as much BS as most of us always believed it to be. :lol:


But anyway, she is happy now and that is wonderful!
 
I'm not going to spend $14.95 plus tax to get this one. I flat out don't care about ONE person's opinion on getting restored hearing. I hardly knew who she was. Why do I want to start now?
