We all read into things, see something that isn't in the text, yet, since there's nothing outside of either text or context, where did that 'reading' come from? And if derrida is correct, that the signifier never reaches the signified, but continually fall back into another signifier, (meaning is always deferred) an infinite play of metaphors, then there is nothing inside of it either.
