A Brief Moment On Life

My brother wrote this poem back in 1998 when he was 15 years old. I'd like to share it with y'all.....

****A Brief Moment On Life****

Why are we here?
What is it all about?
I have often pondered,
about this subject.
What are we?
Why do we do as we do?
Is there really a god?
Or a supreme being?


Are we just worshiping for no reason?
Making us such infidels?
And where do we go
when death has crept his
icy-cold hands upon us?
Do we go to those
pearly gates of Heaven?
Or how about the,
fiery gates of Hell?


Maybe we go to Eternal Torture?
Or a state Limbo?
Perhaps we remain on this mortal coil
as an apparition, ghost,
specter, or poltergeist.
Maybe we are just an experiment?
Lab rats for some being grown and
slaughtered like farm animals?


Maybe just a dream of a great dreamer,
and when that dreamer awakes,
we'll all be...GONE!!!
Maybe when we sleep,
that is the real world!
Maybe our real world is the
reality we think we are in.
Now that I have gotten your attention....


I ask what do you think "LIFE" is all about?¿
Why we are all here?
Maybe you have that knowledge?
But beware too much knowledge
is very....DANGEROUS!!
So be careful what you find out!
It just might shock you.
Now I leave you with questions.
How will you answer them?!

That is awesome I find that poem very warming and yeah thanks for sharing it....I am sure everyone has a smile and a warm heart after reading the poem here. I know I do and I happier than a bee that stings its enemy in the heart.
