6 YO boy Suspended for Kissing Girl's hand

I think this is going way overboard , I wish schools would be this strict about a kid being a bully in school. I really doubt if a 6 yo boy know what sexual harassment is.
 
Just another example of schools taking control of everything. It's not the same as the old time anymore.

Eric Vetch, also on Facebook, said he kissed a girl when he was 6. His punishment? "I remember writing on the chalkboard 'I will not kiss girls at school,' and it was a private Christian school ... go figure."

I know someone whose son was kicked out of school just for letting a girl sit on his lap, nothing more. It's sad that schools are going to extreme like this nowadays and I won't be surprised to hear more in the news.
 
that's just mental what are they trying to teach, don't love each other, become workers in the factory, emotions will be illegal in future?? I see alot of "THX1138" coming through, what a scary sad future that would be.
Time to prevent this much damage is NOW. horrific the State, Governments are raping people's minds....very unethical!
 
America, welcome to police state! I am not surprised! Its America politicians that got into tyranny mode. Sad! If nothing is done to protect our constitution of the United States, Uncle Sam is gonna take over everyone and become tyranny like Stalin, Hilter, and so on.

1970 and today is just grossly so different and I am glad I went school in 70's rather than today! But sad for our kids in future generations.
 
I feel sorry for the kids who don't have good role models at home. Learning affection is normal not something to be punished over.
 
Oh wow, I think his parent should homeschooling 6 years old boy and take taxes away from city school.

Suspend for kissing girl's hand went too far and it is one of dumbest school district ever.

And calling this sexual harassment is insane. That is going to be on the boy school record and follow him all through school . Has anyone thought how this could affect the boy if his parents try to put him in another school ?

I agree. There is the fact is that school is not the place for kissing and where do you teach that but in school when it happens. Schools get stuck with all kinds of disciplining that should be in place already at home.
The new way is if they can't figure it out at school when they say no don't do that the kid goes home.
The Superintendant cannot say to the kids mom listen you belligerent twat I want your kid to quit kissing in school period. The mom ain't getting it. And she still is not getting it. She is crying to every one that will listen oh look what they are doing to my kid!

I know the mom is very upset about her child having her 6 yo son labeled for sexual harassment and I can't blame her . Yes she need to tell her son he not allowed to kiss anyone in school or on the school ground. But this is a 6 yo child and I really don't think he understand he is going anything wrong.
I really feel that school does not need put this on the boy school record. The punishment does not fit the crime. The thing that upset about this whole case is that school seen to coming down harder on this than kids being bullied.
 
I am 100% percent in agreement with you. Bullying causes a lot of REAL damage. I know for myself. It only took forty some years and then I was hardly angry about it all like I was.
In this case though I am seeing where the mom is in some kind of cat fight with the super with both of them bringing out the biggest guns they have.

The little guy is just being himself. Sounds like a cool little fella. He has the right perspective in fact is sounds like a genius. It is the adults that are out of control.

Yeah , I never heard of child killing their self for being kissed on the hand. I hope this will not stop the boy from wanting to kiss his girlfriend on her hand when he is older . If this was my son I would bringing out my biggest guns too. People called me a mama bear when it came to protecting my child.
 
Mama Bears are great. If Mama Bear took the real effort to get her son to not kiss in school this would not have happened. Instead hell no the whole country has to hear about it. I am thanking everything above that I am not married to her.
 
I have always believe education is utmost importance. This is real proof that America education is so ahem <censored>up!

Notice how he smiles? He sees this kind of attention he got. He really don't understand nothing about sexual, but since he sees that this is attention getting, he is getting wrong message and he is going to repeat and be more mischievous. What this society actually encourages him to challenge against them by being more mischievous... just to get attention.

Ain't these educators and politicians a bunch of retarded? Shame on them adults!
 
Parents are supposed to teach their kids how to behave at home. The school system has basically had that taken away. They have tried all kinds of things to deal with the situation. Parents are not the easiest bunch to deal with. It makes my head hurt to even think about trying to be an educator in this modern politically correct time.

I can see how this thing escalated - I like your point about the little guy diehard, he is enjoying this in his way isn't he?
 
Yeah, he isn't being harm in anyway physically and don't understand what was really going on. He would see this as a exciting and fun time, <wrong idea taught finished!>

I could see it being an issue if the little girl was not okay with it. Still, even if she wasn't okay with it.... calling it sexual harassment at the age of 6 is ridiculous.
 
Nope, even with charges already dropped, the damage is permanent on these kids, not just that 6 years old boy, every of his classmate is already "Learn" from it, and god knows, what these poor innocent kids are thinking and that would impact them lifetime.
