Hi, my name is Kristina. I'm a level 1 ASL student. I be came involuted in Deaf culture because my daughter was born deaf. She has Auditory Neuropathy. She also has level 5 cerebral palsy so it's hard to control her hands but she tries really hard. But because her CP effects her hands we got her Implanted, they will turn on in 1 week.

I'm looking for other mommies to connect with for support.

Have you looked into augmentive and alternative communication? It's not super common for dhh kids.....but it is seen with kids with CP sometimes....
There are two deaf schools that have experiance with this population:
The Children's Center for Communication - Where Communication comes first
St. Mary's School for the Deaf - Buffalo, NY

(it doesn't specificly mention AAC on the St Mary's site but I remember reading that someone on the site mentioned that they'd seen kids using AAC devices)
Go full toolbox.....ASL,(her fine motor may improve) speech,AAC etc........
