I'm not LeBron hater because Cavs not my team. But I think LeBron have poor sportmanship. No NBA player ditch their home rookie team that way. No one talks big like LeBron (7 championships?? get out!)

Jordan comment last year about LeBron free agency to Miami with Bosh and Wade. I agree with Jordan.
There's no way, with hindsight, I would've ever called up Larry (Bird), called up Magic (Johnson) and said, 'Hey, look, let's get together and play on one team,'" Jordan said. "But that's ... things are different. I can't say that's a bad thing. It's an opportunity these kids have today. In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys."
Magic so-so, he agreed with Jordan but I saw his comments last night on LeBron.

:laugh2:

I love it..git dis, I didnt watch one shot in last night's game. I watched Swamp People and Mountain Men shows. LeBum, go put on a skirt.. not impressive he won a title with two other players in top five picks in same draft..(all three came from same draft) D-Wade whined that he wanted to play with LeBum and vowed he'd never leave Miami. Im very proud to call Miami biggest fake champion team, ever!

LeBum cares about his reputation more than anything and most of us see that. Too bad that wrong fans are celebrating his first title. I find it rather sad. Im glad the series is over b/c Im sick of watching him runnin to the rim most of time.

What happened when Dan Gilbert said Cleveland Cavaliers will get a champion before LeBron get one? OH SNAP!!!!!!

LeBron = Homecoming Queen and Miami fans are wannabes!

Says Charles Barkley:

"If you're successful, a lot of people aren't going to like you. That's just the way it is. I always used to use this analogy: Everybody hates the homecoming queen because she's pretty. All the ugly girls hate the homecoming queen. And all the dumb kids hate the smart kids. That's just the way it is. LeBron James, first of all he has to take some responsibility (for) the way he did the stuff last year leaving Cleveland, The Decision, coming on stage talking about not five, not six, seven championships. So he deserves some blame, but like I say, he's a great kid, he's a great, great player. … If you look at his résumé right now, the only thing he's missing is a championship, and he's gonna get that done. And no telling how many championships they're going to win. … I wish he had stayed in Cleveland, because those fans in Cleveland, man, they're fantastic. They don't even have real fans here in Miami, they're front-runners."

I'm not exactly a fan of Heat or LeBron. I'm not going to defend LeBron, but look at this.

Remember that LeBron, Wade, and Bosh all signed for less than maximum salary so that they would all be together and win championship. See Bulls would've gotten LeBron and maybe Wade too, but they failed. Miami got them. Miami did a better job than Bulls.

Also, remember when LeBron signed with Miami? If you were 25 years old and had opportunity to make millions of dollars, where would you go? Cleveland? Miami? Chicago? Somewhere else? Why would someone want to work in Cleveland when they would work in Miami?

Miami did it right. Reel in star players, then have others who would probably maybe $3 million somewhere else sign with Miami for $1 million for chance to win championship.

Life is unfair. I don't care about Miami, but they didn't break any free agency rules or salary cap rules. They planned and recruited better than anyone.

Cavs had offered to sign James to a six-year contract for about $125 million but he splited the Heat cap space evenly with Bosh and Wade, the most James signed a 6 years and about $100 million. More money than Miami salary. why he not interested to play with Cavs. So he made mistake and should return to cleveland. But he s too late to re sign.

I think it is a change of culture that isn't appreciated by a lot of NBA veterans. Jordan, Barkley, Magic, many other people voiced their opinion against this three top draft pick team.
Jordan said it very well in his quote (I posted it in #21 of this thread) that he was against it.

Back in LeBron's "The Return" when Heat played on Cav's home in December 2010, LeBron got booed big time and many strong signs the fans gave him.

You can see some of the reactions here:
Mo Williams ignore LeBron. His team and ex-coach tell him to "shut the f* up" (read his lips)

Commentator says: He has never seen fans booing and electrified like this in 25-30 years of his time reporting. LeBron made a huge effect on his home state.
