VW Jettta TDI (diesel) is first in highway MPG

Toyota Pirus is first in city MPG and cheap cost of refueling.

Ford Focus gets lower and costs more to fuel up.

Interesting information.

Wow, interesting information! :) Seems Smart got good gas mileage for a standard car, no hybrid or diesel technology. I think Honda CRX HF still got the best gas mileage for a gasoline powered car. It gets like 55-60 mpg or so.

Smart is only 2 people to fill.

Jetta TDI model required diesel which is more expensive per gas

I think it should be compare completed with Honda Accord Hybrid.

Not true about the diesel. Diesel is actually cheaper to operate than regular gasoline powered car. Diesel has a lower cost per mile.

I almost bought VW Jettta TDI in few years ago but hard to find diesel in anywhere unlike gasoline.

Interesting fuel economy comparison video. :)

The highlander,

The video is still working.

Good Info about 3 stages.

Toyota Prius can only hit about 25 mph before the gasoline engine cuts in.

The new Prius prototypes can operate on electric power for a range of about 7 miles and can re-charge in three to four hours using a 110-vlot outlet. Under the hood is the current Prius’s 1.5-liter inline four. The electric motor generates 50kW, which combined with the more powerful pack, allows the Prius prototype to reach 62 mph on electric-only power.

62MPH is crazy and only use gasoline if over 63 MPH.
