Man Caller: I'm writing my very first email and need to have a question answered.

Tech: I certainly will help you. What is your question today?

Man Caller: I know how to get the letter "a" on the screen but how do I put a circle around it?
 
Or "I can make the arrow up (^) but how to make the arrow go down?"
