I am surprised the bear didn't take a swing at one of them. Bear claws are lethal. Good for the bulldogs but I don't blame the bear for wanting honey or whatever was in the birdfeed.

I couldn't see what kind of dogs. We're they English bull dogs? I believe those were originally bred for bear baiting.

I saw this on TV and was not sure I wanted to watch it , I was sure the dogs where going to get killed . This remind of my Samoyed husky ready to fight a mountain lion that came into out camp site. I thought my dog was going to run off with her tail between her tail , she stood her ground and growled like I never heard do before . The wolf came right out of her , fangs and all. The mountain lion backed off. Dogs are amazing how they will take on an animal twice size of themselves to protect their self and owners .

I am trying to find the story I saw on TV as it showed the dogs close up. I only heard that they where bulldogs. They all whites . I saw this channel 5
Yes, I am pretty sure they where English bulldogs, I looked them up and they looked like the one on TV. People where told to take down their birdfeeders before May 1 b/c
the bears will be waking up and be very hungry and will be looking for food and birdfeeders are a easy way to get a snack .
