Despite the fact that I'm "only" hearing with 16 electrodes, music sounds better than it did when I had all 22 electrodes activated. When all 22 were being used, high frequencies sounded off-key and as if they were one or more octaves above or below where they should be. Now they sound completely in tune and high pitched voices no longer sound weak, distorted or off-key. I can't complain at all because I'm hearing music better than I did before.

True. The nice thing about Braille is that small fonts don't look any different than large fonts. Neither do fonts like itallic, bold, etc. except for the Braille notation which identifies it as such.
